Overall I enjoyed this one day brief. I was a little unsure of how I would do with the workshop when it was announced that it was collaborative, however I think we worked well and created some interesting and strong designs.
It would have been good to have more time on all three of the briefs, and I think that this issue was because of the speed of the scanner which took up at least an hour and a half of our time. While it was good to look for imagery in publications and not on the internet, time to do this needs to be taken into consideration in the future if another similar brief comes up.
I also found it good to work with someone that I haven’t worked with a huge amount before. There were far more ideas and we were able to create something different to what I would usually design, but something that I liked.
The workshop has also made me realise the different design methods there are out there. I did used to work similar to Dr Me in their way of working, however it has been a good while since I have done so, so it was great to do it again and realise that it is a valid way of working and I should do it if it works for me.
