Brief 11 - Fonte De Vita App

I recently looked over the work produced for Brief 1: Fonte De Vita - the Italian bakery/cafe. As well as this, I looked over my other work and portfolio work, quickly realising that while I had a lot of printed material and mock ups, I didn't have any work that was purely digital based, such as an App proposal, which is something that I really enjoy doing.

When looking over my work for Fonte De Vita, and in writing a list of everything I needed to complete, I realised that while I had a website proposal, it wasn't really doing anything other than showing what had already been covered in the printed material, so in a sense it was a bit pointless.

I decided that instead of this website mock up, I could create an App for mobile and tablet, and also a website version, as a place for customers to interact directly with the brand in ways such as reserving a table in the cafe or making an order at the bakery.

This will be a separate brief to Brief 1 as the sole focus is on digital. It also breaks the brief down a bit and makes it more manageable and keeps me on track for what I need to produce.

I completed a brief plan sheet as a start to the brief.

I decided on giving myself 4 weeks to complete the brief. I think that once I have the layout for one sorted, it will be a case of editing to suit the screen size and display. I will be starting with the mobile App as this would be the main interaction for customers. Following this I will adapt it to fit the larger screen of the tablet, and then a desktop version will be created to suit that.
